Road Traffic Accident

Irvings help accident victim by arranging vehicle repairs and hire of an alternative vehicle

Mrs S was involved in a road traffic accident in which her vehicle was damaged and she suffered personal injury. Irvings arranged for the vehicle to be repaired and for her to have a hire vehicle whilst the repairs were being carried out - all at no cost to Mrs S.

The other driver denied it was his fault and so court proceedings were issued. Irvings were able to take statements from witnesses and obtain a full report showing photographs of where the accident occurred to prove that it was the other driver’s fault . Five days before the matter was due in court the other driver agreed to settle Mrs S’s claim.

Irvings win compensation for lady injured by uninsured motorist

Ms B was injured and her car damaged by another car being driven by a motorist who was uninsured. Irvings were able to reassure Ms B that we could still make a claim on her behalf despite the other driver being uninsured.

Her vehicle had been towed away due to being damaged and she was not entitled to a courtesy car on her own insurance policy so Irvings arranged to have one delivered to her door at no cost to Ms B. She was able to keep the hire vehicle until she had received money for her own vehicle and had been able to purchase a new one.

Irvings arranged for Ms B to have a medical examination at her convenience and her claim was then settled and all charges paid for.

Irvings arrange vehicle hire and physiotherapy for victim of a road accident

Mrs C was a passenger in car hit from behind by another car close to her home in Surrey. Through our nationwide network, Irvings arranged for an engineer to inspect her vehicle and a hire car to be delivered to her door. The vehicle was declared a write off and so we secured an early payment of the value of the car so Mrs C could purchase a new one.

Mrs C suffered personal injury as a result of the impact and so a medical examination was arranged at her convenience. The doctor recommended a course of physiotherapy to assist recovery and so this was arranged privately so there was no waiting time.

The insurers of the other vehicle made an offer of settlement to Mrs C which we advised her to reject. The matter proceeded to court and without Mrs C having to attend, the Judge awarded her more than double the amount that she had been offered.

Irvings arrange private medical treatment for client injured in an accident

Mr W was driving his car when he was hit from behind by another car. Irvings arranged for an engineer to inspect his car and when it was declared a write off we were able to secure an early payment for the value of the car. We also claimed for the time that Mr W was without the use of the car as a result of the damage to it.

Mr W had significant injuries as a result of the accident and so Irvings arranged for him to be examined by an orthopaedic surgeon as well as x-rays and an MRI scan, all to be done privately so as to be done as quickly as possible.

As well as his physical injuries Mr W suffered trauma as a result of the accident and so we arranged for him to be examined by a psychiatrist and then we made a claim on his behalf for the cost of an anxiety management course, again to be carried out privately so as to avoid waiting times.

Irvings also made a claim for earnings that Mr W missed out on because he was unable to start a job that he was supposed to as a result of his injuries and during the course of the claim we were able to obtain advance payments for Mr W to prevent any financial hardship.
