Irvings recover compensation of £45,000 for injured footballer

Mr P sustained a serious knee injury whilst playing in a semi-professional football match. He consulted Irvings and explained that his injury resulted from a bad tackle.

From the description of the tackle we advised that although this sort of case can be very difficult to pursue, we believed that a claim for compensation should be made.

Irvings took on the case and obtained extensive witness evidence from other players, supporters and the referee.

Although liability was denied at first , an offer to settle was made without the need for proceedings to be issued and Irvings obtained £45,000 for Mr P to compensate him for his injuries and out of pocket expenses.
