Key Case Report

Brain injury claims: Josh was riding his bicycle afterschool; going for a ride with one of his mates. His friend was riding ahead and Josh following, when they were crossing the road and Josh was struck by a car. This lovely and outgoing young lad was left severely brain injured and his cognitive function was massively impaired. He was in the hospital for six months, his parents struggling to keep up with bills as his mother stayed with him, and soon they were facing eviction on top of his recovery.

The family home was also not deemed suitable for Josh, as it was not wheelchair accessible. Taking into consideration a new home, rehabilitation and a 24/7 lifelong care team; even when his parents are no longer able to care for him, the case was successfully settled for £7 million. Josh and his family could now work on his recovery with peace of mind that they could afford his needs and care.
