We are pleased to announce that our Senior Associate, May Atkinson has joined the Cerebra Board of Trustees.
Cerebra are a charity based in South Wales but with a nationwide coverage for children with a brain condition and their families. They work with families in order to carry out research, design and innovate to support those families whether it be through funded research; designing innovative products to help children do everyday activities; supporting parents with a sleep service or lending specialist toys/books for free to families.
May says: “Irvings Law have been proud to support Cerebra for the past year and what an opportunity this is to join the board of trustees so that we can really cement our support for the charity. I have been aware of Cerebra and the work they do since August 2022 when my little girl suffered a brain injury and they have provided invaluable support to our family. I was really keen to give back in any way I could so I was delighted when Irvings Law decided to support Cerebra. As a trustee, I hope to be able to contribute towards decisions to drive the charity to further success and extend our support to families who need us as they navigate every day life with a child with a brain condition. I am so proud to be part of the charity on a professional and personal level!”
