About May
May obtained her Bachelor of Law (with Honours) from Manchester University and her Legal Practice Course (with Distinction) from the College of Law in Chester. She began as a trainee solicitor at Irvings in 2011 gaining experience in Costs and Personal Injury. May has over 10 years of litigation experiencing handling claims including personal injury claims; professional negligence claims; claims against cavity wall installers and data protection claims.
She served as Chair of the Merseyside Junior Lawyers Division in 2014/15 and received the Liverpool Law Society Muir Matthews Award 2015, given to a young solicitor who is judged to have made the largest contribution on an all-round basis to the Society.
May enjoys travelling and seeing the world. She is also a big foodie and loves eating out whether it be in Michelin starred restaurants or sampling the local street food abroad!
