A Missed Claim

After becoming injured in a car accident, David filed a claim with another law firm for his suffering. He had an injury to his left shoulder and lots of pain in his neck. The other firm was successful and settled his claim for£2100, but David felt it may have been undervalued after seeing a Claim More Money commercial, so he contacted Irvings.

Operating under our no-win, no-fee agreement, we reviewed David’s case and found that the previous law firm completely missed claiming for care and assistance. They had a medical report that stated he would need care from his family members three hours a day for four months, but did not claim for those costs.

Irvings acted and put forward a claim of professional negligence on that basis. We felt David’s former lawyers were negligent in not claiming the care and assistance; that he was owed more for his injuries. After we issued this, the case was settled and David received an additional £2,000 to help cover the costs of his injuries.
