The Wrong Exit

Sheila contacted Irvings after becoming the victim of a pedestrian versus taxi accident… She was walking through a crosswalk and was almost to the sidewalk when a taxi driver who had missed his exit tried to turn past where he needed to, hitting Sheila. She suffered from a fractured pelvis and other injuries. Liability was denied by the taxi driver and it was claimed our client stepped out in front of the cab. We proved that was not the case; Sheila was almost out of the path when she got hit. Due to her injuries and the implications of them impacting her nursing career, the case was settled for £200,000. We were satisfied with the result we were able to get for Sheila; and amount that will help to cover future loss of earnings and continued rehabilitation.
