On Wednesday 19 July, 2017, trainees at Irvings took part in a mock hearing day. Each of the trainees was given a case to prepare for, following the steps and protocol they would have to as solicitors, and today they argued those cases in front of our Partner and Deputy District Judge Gary Colvin (left) and Senior Associate Damien Gill, who oversees the training program (right). The scenarios are discussed after the mock hearings with feedback given from fellow trainees and solicitors. It’s an excellent learning opportunity for all and a part of Irvings unique training program for future solicitors. Well done Aoife, Amy, Sofia, Lucy, Jessica and Sam!
