It was a good day to go out, enjoy some fresh air and get in some exercise. Paul was out jogging when two German Shepherd’s came out from the gated recess of a home and attacked Paul, biting him on the leg. The sudden and emotionally traumatising attack also left him with a laceration on his left leg and significant bruising. Needing help to pursue a claim for his injuries, Paul contacted Irvings.
We issued proceedings and the owners of the dogs denied any wrongdoing, even though the owner pleaded guilty to criminal charges stemming from the incident. We kept on with pursuing the claim, especially after the admittance of guilt, and soon after liability was admitted and a settlement was reached for Paul.
